Photographs are crucial in remembering a deceased loved one. Our lives are filled with images, and for many, images live in their family photographic archives. We have access to a tangible, physical reminder of what a person looked like, but other characteristics become muddy and fade along with memory. In this video, I juxtapose childlike wonder and the excitement of learning with mortality, grief, and an effort to remember.
